So it seems the outside shows have come to an end, for now. But don’t fret! We’ve got some rad shows lined up that we’re ecstatic about. (see below). If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our new song, and title-track of our EP coming out 10/2. Paper Cage Premiered over at End Hits (The Mercury’s music blog) for “Music Monday.” Check out the kind words Ned had to say about the EP:

The Playlist includes tracks from UMO and Blitzen Trapper as well, which is pretty rad.

Sorry for the slight lapse in posts–been crazy busy getting everything ready for our EP release. Our release show is 10/2 at our favorite venue in town, Mississippi Studios. Opening up the night is Bombs Into You followed by New Move (formerly Oh Captain My Captain). We’ll have some goodies for you at the show. Make sure you RSVP on facebook. Can’t wait to share the new songs with everyone!  (Also, sorry for the use of “goodies.” Maybe should’ve said “treats” or “special gifts for special buds”).

Here’s a wonderful poster for the release show, made by our buddy Mathr DeLeon.

Had a fantastic time at Kelly’s with NTNT and Grandhorse. Both bands are worth checking out, if you haven’t already. Really fun live sets, and just nice dudes. We played a brand new song, which will be in rotation at future shows, so be on the lookout for that!

Not a lot of jokes in this post. Sorry gang. Let’s end on a good one: A pirate walks into a barrrgghh…
